Cannington Cricket Club was established in 1926 and is part of the South Metropolitan Cricket Association (SMCA).
Cannington Cricket Club has gone through 3 name changes (Cannington Cricket Club, Canning Districts Cricket Club and now Cannington Tigers Cricket Club)
The club currently has 4 Grades which consist of 1 team playing a combination of 2 dayer and one dayer games and 3 teams only playing 1 day games.
The 2 dayer game is played between 2 saturdays starting at 12.30pm and finishing no later than 6pm.
The 1 dayers start 1pm and also finish by 6pm aswell and consist of 40 overs per side. The grade that below E Grade play 35 overs which depending on the season will determine the lower of our grade but will not always guarantee this grade as subject to the association allocation.
Games are held every saturday with the two day games starting at 13:00pm and all One day games starting at 12:30pm. Training is held Wednesday and Friday Sept to March at Coker Park.
After the games we like to have players come back at the end of the day have a couple of drinks talk about how they went so we can becoe a stronger club and make new friends. We also have match reports which are held at the end of each round so we can see how the club is going.
